Hope Lutheran Church is once again happy to offer our FREE Vacation Bible School on July 26th through July 30th from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM. This year's theme is Circle J Ranch -- "J" stands for Jesus. It is a western dude ranch theme with each day focusing on a different part of the ranch and a corresponding Bible story (e.g. The Circle J Chuck Wagon – Jesus Feeds Over Five Thousand People). We've got lots of fun crafts, snacks, songs, and Bible activities planned. All children ages 3 years through 6th grade are welcome to attend. School Supply Drive for Foster Kids (Community Event)

Although it seems summer has just begun, it will soon be back to school time again. And for California’s nearly 80,000 foster children, getting a leg up in class can be as simple as having the basic supplies. You can help make a difference in a foster kid’s life by donating new school supplies at your local Sleep Train store. Contributions will be distributed amongst Sleep Train’s 19 California foster care partner organizations.Donations will be accepted at any Sleep Train store. Bring new school supplies including pencils, pens, erasers, calculators, paper, backpacks, binders and pocket dictionaries. With the help of Wal-Mart, Supercuts and Citrus Heights Beauty College, New Life Community Church of Fair Oaks will be able to provide new backpacks, school supplies, outfits, tennis shoes and haircuts to over 350 pre-qualified children! Items will be distributed on the church campus during a family fun night were families can enjoy free food, gigantic inflatable play equipment, crafts, face painting and more!

Every Friday at 7:00PM. The place where area singles come together to relax after a busy week, unwind and refocus on the Lord. There is a time fo worship and praise as we sing and study God's Word. Then we have a time of fellowship, table games, pool, etc., plus food and stacks. It's all FREE. It is a great time to meet other singles and make new friendships. Please dress casual.
