"Telling Twain"
It's hard to think of a more quotable American humorist than Mark Twain, author of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and other classics. Drawing selections from Sketches New and Old, Twain's book of fictional stories, Telling Twain offers a look into the writer's lesser-known tales, while also offering a look at the man himself. Set in 1890 at Twain's home in Hartford, Connecticut, the show captures Twain's 10-year-old daughter Jean asking her father about his stories. As he begins to reply, a group of "fans" appears and brings those stories to life with all the wit and poignancy that Twain intended. April 30th, National Day of Repentance
I was made aware that the National Day of Repentance is April 30th which falls on a Tuesday. This is the anniversary of George Washington's first inaugural speech - which if you look him up, what a precious man of God he was! This is a quote I found in his speech...part of our foundation as a nation before God, "No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States." I am in the process of getting the word out so that more and more people will acknowledge and participate in this National day to humble ourselves before God and ask Him to heal our land. My heart breaks for our country and a desire to see revival. Please join me in getting the word out!! And praying that it spread like fire! Here is the website: http://www.dayofrepentance.org/

Splash n Dash
We invite you to join our troop as we earn our Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. To earn this honor, our troop has spent more than twenty hours exploring our community and determining where we can make a difference. We have decided to assist Sacramento Animal Care & Regulation in stocking their Community Pet Food Pantry. Keeping the shelves stocked with quality pet food allows a well loved pet to remain with their family rather than be surrendered due to financial hardships. To achieve this goal, we will host a community dog wash at which people could donate a bag of dog, cat or rabbit food. Trends-n-Treats Pet Supply-Spa-Boutique of Fair Oaks has generously agreed to host a dog wash event with our troop. They will donate 100% of the proceeds from every “Splash n Dash” dog wash and half of the proceeds from every toenail trim.

Join us on Valentines Day for a wonderfully romantic and beloved comedy. Candlelight, Dessert, Sparkling Cider, and Romantic Ambiance will be provided. Seating is limited & advance reservations are highly encouraged. $20 per person. London: 1890s. Another of Wilde’s social satires, ‘An Ideal Husband” is a romantic and sentimental comedy about an upstanding politician, Robert Chiltern, who is haunted by his past when a blackmailer, Mrs. Cheveley, threatens to reveal a youthful indiscretion and harm the happy marriage of he and his adoring wife, Gertrude Chiltern. It is up to his wife and his uninspired, but utterly charming, long time friend, Lord Goring, to confront this dilemma, but it could risk Goring's chances to finally win over Robert’s sister, Mabel. And, the question remains: what makes an ideal husband?

As the comments and lies begin to fly about, it's revealed that the man thought to be perfect is flawed, the man with all the flaws must do something right, and the question remains: what makes an ideal husband? $15-General Admission $12-Senior & Students $7-ages 0-11 CASH ONLY-at the door Order tickets online with paypal @ www.freefallstage.com

"A Little Princess"
Raised in the distant jungles of India, a young girl lives in a world filled with luxury, magical tales, exotic experiences and the adoring love of her father. But when she comes to New York to enroll in the strict boarding school that her late mother once attended, because her father goes to fight in the war, Sara Crew has some culture shock in the country of her father’s birth. Yet, by using her natural charm, imagination and love for people, she finds a way to bring the magic of her childhood in India into every corner of Miss Minchin's School for Girls -- even after tragedy hits her life in an unfathomable way. A Little Princess is the story of the power of one girl's spirit and its ability to change her life and the fortunes of those around her for the good.
